Hysteria2 connection string
One connection is described by a plain line of text. It carries everything needed to reach a server: address, port, credentials, and the TLS server name. Proxy Dom reads that string locally and never sends it anywhere.
What the string looks like
hysteria2://user:password@address:port/?sni=domain#name
hysteria2:// |
The scheme. The short form hy2:// means the same
thing and is accepted as well.
|
|---|---|
user:password |
Credentials for your server. When there is no password, only the user name stays. |
@address:port |
Server address and port. Without a port, 443 is used. |
?sni=domain |
The TLS server name. Without this parameter the address from the string is used. |
&insecure=1 |
Allows a certificate that cannot be verified. Turn it on only if your server is set up that way. |
&obfs=salamander |
Stream wrapper. Its key is passed separately as
obfs-password.
|
#name |
The label shown for that line in the server list. It is a caption, not part of the connection. |
A sample with a non-existent address, for shape only:
hysteria2://user:password@node.example.com:443/?sni=node.example.com#Working

How to paste it into Proxy Dom
- Tap Add on the home screen and paste the string into the import field. An HTTPS address that lists such strings, or a QR code with one, works there too.
- The string shows up in the server list. Add several — switch between them one at a time, nothing is deleted.
- Pick the line and tap Connect. The system asks for permission once: the VPN service on Android, the network profile on iOS, the network adapter install on Windows.
- From there the connection is toggled on one screen. Meters and logs live in Settings.
Where the string comes from
It is given by whoever set up your access: your server admin, the provider of the configuration, or another person. The app issues nothing, keeps no accounts, and picks no addresses.
Keep it private
The string contains the credentials for your server. Do not forward it in public chats and do not publish it: the string is as good as the access itself. If it leaks, change the password on the server.
The app can export a string as text or as a QR code, which is how one moves a configuration to another device of your own.
